The security of Netfilter School (in the network protection version) is in its firewall configurations and/or in the network rooter. If the students don't have access these equipments and if they are correctly configured, then it's impossible to mock Netfilter. In other hand, the students may try to mock the individual protection version, but it would be uiste impossible, because Netfilter is a high security system, that has already been tested many times by especialists who were not able to break its protection.

In the network protection version it is not possible, because there's no Netfilter School component installed in users computers.

Using a network protection version it is possible to use any browser compatible to HTTP 1.1 protocol. In the individual protection version, it is necessary to use the following browsers: Internet Explorer 4.0 or above and Netscape 4.5 or above. You may try to use other browsers, pointing the configurations HTTP and HTTPS proxy of the browser to 127.0.0.1, port 8001. For more information, take a lok at your browser's documentation.

It is possible to include or remove categories of entertainment, show the local blocked sites list, add or remove URL's in the individual blocked sites list, verify in which categorie each URL is being blocked, configurations of adresses in the computers and proxies cascading, if necessary.
